1.21 Gigawatts?!?!?

I'm just throwing out an opinion poll here.  Does anyone think that the Rowling books will have quite the appeal as the other childrens classics by C.S. Lewis?  Or even L. Frank Baum?  Do you think people will still be reading them in 20, 30 or even 50 years?

I feel that they will hit a wall at some point.  Possibly very soon (at least until they finish putting the movies out).  And they very well will be looked at as a fad to some extent.   But at the very least J.K. did get 9 year olds to put down the PS2 controller for awhile and hopefully that will continue on in the future for at least some of them.
